11:1 Be ye followers of me, as and I of Christ. Follow me as I do Christ. Be ye the followers of me, even as I am of Christ. Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
11:2 And, brethren, I praise you, that by all things ye be mindful of me; and as I betook to you my commandments, ye keep. I commend you brethren that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances which I gave to you. Now, brethren, I commend you, that ye remember all my things, & keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
11:3 But I will that ye know, that Christ is the head of each man; but the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. I would ye knew that Christ is the head of every man. and the woman’s head is the man, and Christ’s head is God. But I will that ye know, that Christ is the head of every man: & the man is the woman’s head: and God is Christ’s head. But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ: and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.
11:4 Each man praying, or prophesying, when his head is covered, defouleth his head. Every man praying or prophesying having any thing on his head, shameth his head. Every man praying or prophesying having any thing on his head, dishonoreth his head. Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
11:5 But each woman praying, or prophesying, when her head is not covered, defouleth her head; for it is one, as if she be made bald. Every woman that prayeth or prophesieth bareheaded, dishonesteth her head. For it is even all one, and the very same thing even as though she were shaven But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth bareheaded, dishonoreth her head: for it is even one very thing, as though she were shaven. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered, dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
11:6 For if a woman be not veiled, be she polled; and if it is foul thing to a woman to be polled, or to be made bald, cover she her head. If the woman be not covered, let her also be shaven. If it be shame for a woman to be shaven or shorn, let her cover her head. Therefore if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: and if it be shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
11:7 But a man shall not cover his head, for he is the image and glory of God; but a woman is the glory of man. A man ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of god. The woman is the glory of the man. For a man ought not to cover his head: forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
11:8 For a man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man. For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man. For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man. For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man.
11:9 And the man is not made for the woman, but the woman for the man. Neither was the man created for the woman’s sake: but the woman for the man’s sake. For the man was not created for the woman’s sake: but the woman for the man’s sake. Neither was the man created for the woman: but the woman for the man.
11:10 Therefore the woman shall have a covering on her head, also for angels. For this cause ought the woman to have power in her head, for the angels’ sake. Therefore ought the woman to have power on her head, because of the Angels. For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head, because of the Angels.
11:11 Nevertheless neither the man is without the woman, neither the woman is without the man, in the Lord. Nevertheless, neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man in the lord. Nevertheless, neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man in the Lord. Nevertheless, neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man in the Lord.
11:12 For why as the woman is of the man, so and the man is by the woman; but all things be of God. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man by the woman: but all is of god. For as the woman is of the man, so is the man also by the woman: but all things are of God. For as the woman is of the man: even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
11:13 Ye yourselves deem; becometh it a woman not veiled to pray to God? Judge in yourselves whether it be comely that a woman pray unto god bareheaded. Judge in yourselves, is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? Judge in yourselves, is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
11:14 Neither the kind itself teacheth us that, for if a man nourish long hair, it is evil fame to him; Or else doth not nature teach you, that it is a shame for a man, if he have long hair: Doth not nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? Doth not even nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
11:15 but if a woman nourish long hair, it is glory to her, for hairs be given to her for covering. and a praise to a woman if she have long hair? For her hair is given her to cover her withal. But if a woman have long hair, it is a praise unto her: for her hair is given her for a covering. But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
11:16 But if any man is seen to be full of strife, we have none such custom, neither the church of God. if there be any man among you that lusteth to strive, let him know that we have no such customs, neither the congregations of God. But if any man lust to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the Churches of God. But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the Churches of God.
11:17 But this thing I command, not praising, that ye come together not into the better, but into the worse. This I warn you of, and commend not that ye come together after a worse manner, and not after a better. Now in this that I declare, I praise you not, that ye come together, not with profit, but with hurt. Now in this that I declare unto you, I praise you not, that you come together not for the better, but for the worse.
11:18 First for when ye come together into the church, I hear that partings be, and of part I believe. First of all when ye come together in the congregation, I hear that there is dissension among you: And I partly believe it. For first of all, when ye come together in the Church, I hear that there are dissensions among you: and I believe it to be true in some part. For first of all when ye come together in the Church, I hear that there be divisions among you, and I partly believe it.
11:19 For why it behooveth heresies to be, that they the which be proved, be made known to you. For there must be sects among you, that they which among you are perfect might be known. For there must be heresies even among you, that they which are approved among you, might be known. For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
11:20 Therefore when ye come together into one, now it is not to eat the Lord’s supper; When ye come together in one place, a man cannot eat the lord’s supper. When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s Supper. When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s Supper.
11:21 for why each man before taketh his supper to eat, and one is hungry, and another is drunken. For every man beginneth afore to eat his own supper. and one is hungry, and another is drunken. For every man when they should eat, taketh his own supper afore, and one is hungry, and another is drunken. For in eating, every one taketh before other, his own supper: and one is hungry, and an other is drunken.
11:22 Whether ye have not houses for to eat and drink, or ye despise the church of God, and confound them that have not? What shall I say to you? I praise you; in this thing I praise you not. Have ye not houses to eat and drink in? Or else despise ye the congregation of God? and shame them that have not? what shall I say unto you? shall I praise you? in this praise I you not. Have ye not houses to eat & to drink in? despise ye the Church of God, and shame them that have not? what shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. What, have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? Or despise ye the Church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
11:23 For I have taken of the Lord that thing, which and I have betaken to you. For the Lord Jesus, in what night he was betrayed, took bread, That which I gave unto you I received of the lord. For the lord Jesus the same night in the which he was betrayed, took bread: For I have received of the Lord that which I also have delivered unto you, to wit, That the Lord Jesus in the night that he was betrayed, took bread. For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, took bread:
11:24 and doing graces, he brake, and said, Take ye, and eat ye; this is my body, which shall be betrayed for you; do ye this thing into my mind. and thanked and brake, and said: Take ye, and eat ye this is my body which is broken for you. This do ye in the remembrance of me. And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do ye in remembrance of me. And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat, this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
11:25 Also and he took the cup, after he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood; do ye this thing, as oft as ye shall drink it, into my mind. After the same manner he took the cup when supper was done saying: This cup is the new testament in my blood, this do as oft as ye drink it, in the remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the New testament in my blood: this do as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new Testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
11:26 For as oft as ye shall eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye shall shew the death of the Lord, till he come. For as often as ye shall eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye shall shew the lord’s death, till he come. For as often as ye shall eat this bread, & drink this cup, ye shew the Lord’s death till he come. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
11:27 And so whoever shall eat the bread, or drink the cup of the Lord unworthily, he shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. Wherefore whosoever shall eat of this bread, or drink of the cup unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the lord. Wherefore, whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink the cup of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body & blood of the Lord. Wherefore, whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
11:28 But prove a man himself, and so eat he of that bread, and drink of the cup. Let a man therefore examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup. Let a man therefore examine himself, and so let him eat of this bread, & drink of this cup. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
11:29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh doom to himself, not wisely deeming the body of the Lord. For he that eateth or drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh his own damnation, because he maketh no difference of the lord’s body. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh his own damnation, because he discerneth not the Lord’s body. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
11:30 Therefore among you many be sick and unstrong, and many sleep. For this cause many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. For this cause many are weak, and sick among you, and many sleep. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
11:31 For if we deemed wisely ourselves, we should not be deemed; If we had truly judged ourselves, we should not have been judged. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
11:32 but while we be deemed of the Lord, we be chastised, that we be not condemned with this world. When we are judged of the lord we are chastened, because we should not be damned with the world. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, because we should not be condemned with the world. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
11:33 Therefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, abide ye together. Wherefore my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. Wherefore my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
11:34 If any man hunger, eat he at home, that ye come not together into doom. And I shall dispose other things, when I come. if any man hunger let him eat at home, that ye come not together unto condemnation. Other things will I set in order when I come. And if any man be hungry, let him eat at home, that ye come not together unto condemnation. Other things will I set in order when I come. And if any man hunger, let him eat at home, that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order, when I come.
