And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

As they heard these things, he added thereto a similitude, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, And because also, they thought that the kingdom of God should shortly appear. And whiles they heard these things, he continued and spake a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem, and because also they thought that the kingdom of God should shortly appear. And as they heard these things, he added, and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Hierusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

19:15 And it was done, that he turned again, when he had taken the kingdom; and he commanded his servants to be called, to whom he gave money, that he should know, how much each had won by chaffering. And it came to pass, when he was come again and had received his kingdom, he commanded his servants, to be called to him (to whom he gave his money) to wit what every man had done. And it came to pass, when he was come again, and had received his kingdom, that he commanded the servants to be called to him, to whom he gave his money, that he might know what every man had gained. And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

For I feared thee, because thou art a strait man: thou takest up, that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. Then he said unto him, Of thine own mouth will I judge thee, o evil servant. Thou knewest that I am a strait man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow. 19:23 and why hast thou not given my money to the board, that and I coming should have received it soothly with usuries? Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank? And then at my coming should I have required mine own, with vantage. Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required it with vantage? Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
